Athlete performance
A 9-year-old learning how to move does not need the program of a Division I athlete. An elite athlete does not need a generic group workout.
Science gives us principles. Twenty-five years of coaching teaches you how and when to apply them.
The athlete pathway
Athletes progress when they are ready. Age helps guide the starting point, but training age and ability determine the program.

Ages 9–12
Movement quality, coordination, running and jumping mechanics, body control, and basic strength.

Middle / High School
Progressive strength, acceleration, speed, jumping, change of direction, and athletic power.

Varsity / Recruiting
Individualized strength and power, speed development, and complete performance preparation.

College
Advanced programming around the sport schedule, workload, recovery demands, and competitive calendar.
Talent creates the opportunity.
Preparation decides the rest.

40+ Performance & Health
Performance coaching is not only for athletes. These programs combine intelligent training, nutrition coaching, and evidence-informed education around recovery, body composition, and healthy aging.
Results built over time

“What changed wasn't just his strength. He became more confident in how he moved and competed.”
Parent
Athletes who went on to earn college scholarship opportunities.
Harder workouts are not the answer. Better coaching is.

Jason Clark
Founder · Performance Coach
More than a coach
Jason Clark grew up in small-town Texas, where sports were part of who you were. A missed college opportunity taught him a lesson that now shapes every athlete he coaches: talent creates an opportunity, but what you do with it determines where it takes you.
His path included a successful career in television and media, covering major national stories and spending 16 years around the Oklahoma City Thunder. That experience helps athletes understand communication, pressure, interviews, and how to represent themselves when people are watching.
After reaching 365 pounds, Jason transformed his own health and lost more than 100 pounds. He earned his first training certification at 24, began coaching athletes at 25, returned to school for his degree, and kept refining his approach through education and competition.
Today, Fitness University brings those lessons together. Athletes learn how to move, get stronger, become faster and more explosive, understand why they train, and prepare to make the most of their opportunity.
